Bhutan - Land of the Thunder Dragon
In the countryside of Bhutan, we walked through the fields and up the steep mountainsides to temples on the heights and on the sides of cliffs. Prayer flags blew in the wind and the monks of all ages welcomed us in every temple. Small details in the woods and along the trails show the pervasiveness of Buddhism in this extraordinary landscape.
